Talc
Talc is one of the softest minerals found in nature. It is easily scratched with a fingernail and has a hardness of 1 Mohs scale. Talc is an aqueous silicate composed of magnesium, silica and oxygen. Due to its softness, insulation, electrical resistance, chemical consistency, heat resistance, oil absorption and strong coating properties, it is used in various industries including ceramics, paper, pesticides, paints, rubber, cosmetics, cast-rubber.
